Why choose custom photography?  To put it simply, because it's all about you.  I will work with you every step of the way to capture images you will love and cherish for years to come.  From wardrobe consultation to picking out a location, it's about your vision for what you'd like to see hanging on your wall.  I won't simply wedge you into my appointment book; I reserve time for you and only you.  I don't mass edit your images; I carefully process each image to bring out the best of that moment.

My goal is simple: to capture those candid moments that make you, you! Sometimes it's the glee on a toddler's face as he races away from his mom; sometimes it's the quiet, contemplative moments when a young woman begins to talk about the future ahead of her. I enjoy every moment of getting to know each person that steps in front of my lens and capturing the moments and expressions that make them unique. When I'm told I have captured a child's spirit in my photos, it's the greatest compliment I could receive!

My pledge to you: through my camera, I will look at your family the same way I look at my own. I will work to capture the laughter, the innocence, the loose teeth, silly expressions, scatched-up-knees, and all! I won't over-edit your photos; I strive to let the natural beauty and personality shine through so you can look back on your photos years from now and know that we captured these memories as perfectly true-to-the-moment as possible.
